Default Need some help

Okay I need some help. I just bought a 1997 Cherokee country, and I would like to lift it. Not gonna lie its a lot for looks but I do ride some rough dirt roads from time to time. So my question is what's a good starter lift that's easy to install that I can run 31s on without doing major modifications such as driveshaft ect. Also I'm on a tight budget for the lift wheels and tires.

If you don't want to do any major modifications, keep it 3" or under. If you do 3" with correctly offset wheels, you should be able to fit 31s just perfectly

I would say you are looking for a 3" lift kit.

There are a few companies out there selling them for cheap it's all just personal preference on which one you want I think.
I went with Rough Country and so far I'm loving it but other people hate it. It was pretty easy to install did it myself in my drive way with few power tools.
Just do some research and find one you would like and good luck with your jeep

Okay I'm not trying to be stupid I'm just starting to get into this stuff what do you mean by offset wheels? I was thinking a 2.5 inch lift with 31s any recommendations ?
