Default need a quick answer about tires

Found some wheels/tires for sale for a very good deal just need to know if they would fit.

backspacing is 4.5 and they are 31" I currently am on 235/75/15's. I want to upgrade to 31's but im wondering if the backspacing being a little lower will allow it to sit in the fenderwell instead of hitting the fender.

I have 32's with 4.5" backspacing. Works great! Tucks right inside the Wells.

Depends greatly on how much lift you have.

3" lift, 31x10.50x15 on 15x8 4.5" BS wheels.

As of right now no lift.. But my parents offered to buy these for me if I can get them to fit. They are 75 bucks with great tread. 31x10.5x15
I can get a budget boost in a few weeks but would like to be able to run them now.. How much trimming would be required and would I be able to run my stock flairs.

What year is the Jeep?

31's aren't going to be happy with no lift and no trimming.

Why don't you go ahead and pick up the tires, set them aside until you get the lift and then put them on. That way you don't have to hack your fenders.

its a 87 waggy. And setting aside isn't really a option they will be PISSED they wasted money on something that is just going to sit.

If you keep your sway bars connected you may be able to get by.

I probably would go with a 30" tire. But a budget lift is only like 80 bucks.

my sway will never be disconnected even if I lift it. I'm not a wheeler. some light mud is all it will ever see. Mainly my DD/camping rig and like to be able to get down by the river/lake to camp.

Well I had the tires on. I had plenty of clearance front and rear but the bolt pattern was wrong they lied on the ad turned and it ended up being about a 1/4" off Couldn't get them all the way bolted on just could get 2 on.
