The ad doesn't tell much about HOW the hatch was repaired, lol... And as is typical for Craigslist, they reference the damaged area, but don't show it. But it doesn't look too bad, to me... Other than the bent bumper and the dented-looking hatch, it looks really, really nice. And the '99 is probably the best year... So I'd say go for it.

While I agree they didn't show the repaired areas much, I also don't expect the OP to drive all that way to look at it without requesting pictures of any damaged/repaired areas

i agree, for 3k it looks well worth it, PROVIDED it runs, drives, and handles how it looks! the damage i'm not worried about really, i can fix minor damage and was gonna put custom front and rear bumpers on it anyway. just so long as it didn't brand the title because the damage! 99 is my favorite year, the engines were actually the best! have the best head casting, best flow dynamics in the horseshoe style manifold and still used distributor cap and not coil pack ignition! also, cam-shaft and main bearing retainers! boo yeah! rock solid 4.0! it is already lifted though
oh well i'll re-lift it and sell the old one! haha
