Hey guys, so my friend is taking off his 1" blocks and he asked me if I was interested in buying them. My Jeep has a stock lift with some 31"s and every time I go wheeling I get stuck lol (I can't afford a lift right now, college).
Anyway, I've heard mixed things about blocks and I just want to make sure I know enough about the consequences of installing them before I decide to get them or not.
Any information is appreciated!
Thanks for the help!

If your stock springs are still good Id opt for longer shackles. Blocks dont work too well with the stock springs. I ran them before and ended up snapping a rear spring from the torque. Going to go with a bastard pack soon now.

i have stock rear springs and 2" blocks and no issue and i beat the hell outa my xj on the trails and mud,1" blocks wont effect it really just give u a lil extra room,i wouldnt go any higher than 2" with blocks tho, they can cause damage
I ran a 1" block and 2" lift shackles for a good several months and i never had a problem, that and 3" springs with new shocks makes a pretty low price lift if you get some parts used
