I took care of the rust and rock chips on my hood. I used bed liner to match the sides and am liking it so far.

Now I have the idea to add a decal or use a stencil to paint something on it. The best idea I have come up with is photoshopped below. Anyone have any other ideas?

i think it looks pretty sweet how you have it mocked up..i always thought it would look cool to paint the indent goin down the hood black on my xj.

 

Its duplicolor spray on liner, used it last year for the sides and had used it on my old Blazer. Its good stuff and it lasts.

I love Duplicolor spray on liner. People always give me compliments on how nice my Jeeps look and I secretly chuckle inside knowing how much "rattle can" action theyve seen. Its tough to get decals to stick to it though, prob better of stenciling.
