i found a set of 31.5/65/R16 maxxis mudders with 3/8 tread left. i have two questions. is that a decent amount? and also what vehicle can i pull the rims off for my xj that are 16's

I guess in answer to your first question, it would depend on how much you're paying for them. That's a little less than half, so I wouldn't be paying more than 25% of the cost of the tire new.

Some later model Limited Cherokees came with 16" rims. Also, a lot of Grands had them. Just make sure the bolt pattern is 5x4.5, and you should be ok.

 

its 75 bucks for 4 of them. this is strictly offroad vehicle by the way

 

sounds good then but make sure you like them in person. 93-98 grand cherokees w/16s will bolt up. And like stated b4. Also i am 99% sure that libertys have 16s and 5x4.5 pattern as well.

 

well thanks for all the help but turns out the guy didnt know what he was selling. they were 315/70/16 or something like that. he thought the 315 meant 31.5 but what it actually meant was he had 35's and didnt know it. so i didnt buy
