I've got the same issue at the moment. Autozone has some exhaust parts; I've been meaning to go there and see what exactly they have.

I was thinking of an idea to have a snorkel on one side and route the exhaust the other side. anyone know if it could work?

Cut it off and do a turn down right before the shackle

you could heat it up and bend it. I did this when i installed my shackle bb. Just a propane torch and a pipe was enough but make sure to be gradual with the bend.

Great idea. But like you said, it needs to be gradual, otherwise you'll put cracks in the metal, or it'll just bend in half and become weak.

If you have access to a wire feed welder and a cutoff tool the auto zone exhaust parts will be great to the job, but will cost more than a torch and pipe to bend.
