I checked Bring A Trailer. That's a great car for exceptional cars. Extremely low mileage or rare.

lol 2 of my good friends go to manheim auctions. Ive gone with them and even got a nice car for my mom there lol. Cars with tons of issues are auctioned off. My friends have been burned a few times. Its not like they run nothing but pristine cars through there. You definitely need to go out and see it....its not a wasted flight if you see it is in good condition or if its complete crap. Beats being in the dark and bidding on an unknown.

 

All auctions are a gamble.
Trust me.
I hope I can fly up to look at the car or pay someone to inspect it.

or get lots of pics taken of certain specified areas, like rear spring hangers, underfloor seams etc

areas where badly rusted metal will be "broken thru"

bedliner wont hide that

 

ive been to some where there are designated areas to at least drive them. But most are gambles yes....just a bigger gamble when you cant actually see it.... if you can find someone reputable that may work.

I don't want to pay for a rust bucket. Based on the registration, warranty, and service records its a legitimate low mileage well maintained car. Hopefully the car is in as good a shape as they say.

Dont ask. Lol. To much but if it's really clean it's worth it to me. I've had a bunch of cars since I traded my old XJ in but I've always regretted getting rid of it. I've been thinking of buying another one for years. Finally decided to pull the trigger.

well, glad to hear it's not over 10k. Was gettimg worried lol. It's not a wasted flight for peace of mind. You can just drive it back if you decide to get it.

 

They do put together some good looking trucks though.
What a difference between this forum and that other one. The people on that other forum have me in the verge of giving up. Basically they think if I'm paying more than $300 or something I must be crazy.
