Default Need help! Getting 35s and need to know what gear ratio!

Hello I need to know what gear ratio for 35s would be good,it is a daily driver and I drive on the interstate often. I want the perfect gearing to get me up to speed QUICKLY (as close to stock possible) and that will not make my gas milage go down the drain...I need to be able to do at least 80 and without rpms over 2500.please help..was thinking 3.83 or 4.10..let me know thanks

with your rpms low at interstate speed youre gonna have to use more throttle to maintain speed, in turn not really saving on gas. you should do at least 4.56 gears but i would prefer 4.88 myself, even though the rpms will be a little higher.

for an auto id go with 4.88 or 5.13

for a 5 speed 4.10 or even 4.56 would work well

but for your specific question. 4.10 would would probably keep most 35's with an auto around just under 2500 rpms at 80

You want to look at deeper gears, otherwise its gonna be a pig on 35's. You want to be looking at 4.56's at least if not lower. Your going to have to compromise on something because you cant have it all plus good gas mileage. Why the need to go at least 80? its a jeep on 35's just cruise it, no need to haul ***.

4.10s and going with 31s is like going back to stock settings. With 35s go with atleast 4.56 if not 4.88. Also you can't have fast acceleration and also keep low rpm just doesn't work that way especially with those tires

Pick the (1) you want most:

a) Acceleration
b) Fuel economy
c) Lowest engine RPM @ 80 mph.
