Default Need help on add a leaf

I have a 1996 Jeep Cherokee. One year ago i added a 2 inch spacer/shackle lift along with 30's. I dont know if this is normal but the shackle lift caused my current stock leafs to straighten out flat. This causes the back end to sag resulting in my fenders to rub against my tires if there was enough weight in the back. So i just bought about a 2 inch add a leaf and was wondering if installing them will be bad for my current leaf springs? Will it be safe enough or will i need to buy a whole new set of leafs?

shackles can cause leafs to sag quickly, if ur leafs are sagging bad then a 2" aal, will give them some curve but not enough to lift u an extra 2" ull probly only get 1"-1.5" of lift out of them, that being said if u got the full length aal, the short leafs suck, i think your best bet tho, is to either A, go to a JY and buy stock xj leafs that arnt as saggy as urs and install the aal. B, make a bastardpack. or C, invest in some new lift leaf packs.
