Need Guidance! Lift kit, tires, etc.
i used to have a 2001 cherokee sport and sold it...biggest regret...
few weeks ago i got a 99 cherokee and threw a new motor and trans it in and its running like a champ! I have some mechanical skills but need assistance in the parts i just got.
So im planning on doing a lift and putting bigger tires.
Things i purchased:
-4.5 inch rough country lift with add a leaf (maybe one day will get the full leaf add on)
-33x11.50 Nitto terra grapplers already mounted on 16x10 Pro Comp steel wheels (stock wheels for a 2008 Wrangler JK X)
- (4) 1.25 wheel spacer adapters which will convert the stock XJ 5x4.5 bolt pattern to 5x5 to accommodate the new rims and tires
Tomorrow im going to tackle the lift kit and do not see myself running into any major problems. (except for some yanged rusty back breaking bolts)
What my thoughts are.
My bump stops are shot. Should i do them at the same time while i have the coils off? I want to throw 2 or 3 hockey pucks in there and bolt em together.
Will this set-up that i pretty much already bought work?
Im going to have to trim the fenders? best tool to use? will a hacksaw work?
do i definitely need a new steering stabilizer?

I used a cut off wheel on grinder to cut fenders. I would hate to use a hacksaw for that but may work. Dont forget to extend your break lines. I would go ahead and do the bumps while springs are out.

Only way to do bumpstops in the front is with the coils off. So yes, plan on doing it then.
Did your lift kit come with an adjustable track bar? You'll need one
Did your kit come with new sway bar links? You'll need those.
Did it come with a transfer case drop? Chances are you'll need one of those or an SYE
