Default need advice!

okay guys, well i sold my 96.. had a 4.5" RC on 33x12.50x15 MTZs... bought a 97 xj and its stock right now.... (got a good deal on it).. now my question is should i go 4.5 on 33x13.50x15 mud grapplers on 15x10 Streetlocks or 6.5 on 35x12.50x16 on 16x10 streetlocks? i am taking off the fender flares, and am trimming the fenders slightly, also am custom fabbing front/rear bumpers as well. what would yall reccomend? Im getting this done soon so let me know!! THANKS pics would be helpful too!

35's... Largest tire for clearance... Maxing out the oem axles = most cosy efficient build...

Tires for a 16" wheel cost more. So I'd avoid 16" wheels. You could also get away with 35x12.50s on an 8" wheel no need for 10" unless you just like the looks.

If it were me I'd go with 4.5" on 33s.

A 10" wheel with a 12.50 won't give you any more width than an 8" with the same tire.

Unless the backspacing is different between the two.

Should... 35 is max size for your front and rear axles... So u cant go larger without axles... 35's are larger then 33's which give you 2 more inches of ground clearance... So why run 33's when u can run 35's...

i sold my 96 because i made a profit off it, and got a great deal on a 97, with less miles! plus i just like the look of the 97-01s better. if i go w/ 35s i think i should get the 6" kit, but the shop i am getting the work done to said i can run 35s on 4.5 i just dont know how that would look

Lift height is strictly preference. I will be going to 35's with 3in of lift. But you have to do a little more work than running 6.5in of lift and 35's.

I could care less about looks. I just want it to rock and roll

However I usually roll my eyes at large lifts. Low jeeps and big tires are cool as far as I am concerned.

So its really not up to anyone but you as far as looks.

Right, so why don't you just tell the OP how it is and what looks cool. Because its not really up to him, its up to you.
