My recently aquired '99
Cheers all
Picked up this clean stolen/recovery a few weeks back. Obviously the previous 2 owners took decent care of it, and the thieves didn't trash it too bad. 109 on the clock, she runs excellent, nice cold air, clean interior, and 99.5% rust free. I had those 16x8 TKO's with Yokie 580's installed this morning, spent the rest of the morning changing out the track bar and steering damper with some nice Moog units. Basically my traveler, I also installed some Gabriel Ultra's last week.
My 3rd XJ, I also have a '97 with 325K, and had an '89 that recorded 442k before exploding the flex plate. The beotch still ran, but the crank flange took some nasties that made it un repairable without changing the crank.
Low maintainence, hi miles, you can expect that from a 4 litre, thats my excuse for stickin with em
Cheers

Do you think that you would enjoy the nice cold air when it's 109 degrees outside with 85% humidity like it has been all week?
Nah, I run the heat in that weather. Boy, this sure is a cold summer.

LOL, Northern MI, USA, and she's been pretty hot up here for this time of yr....but she can get cold, too
Thanks guys, gonna take lots of WD40 to keep the rust away, but she'll stay in the garage pretty much for the winter, Old black will handle that season

you can tell in the pics (atleast on my screen) that the trim and bumpers are both not the same color.. Most likely was painted sometime in its life.. .and not very well.
