Angry my P.O.S.

This morning, I had to call a friend to jump start my jeep. It ran fine all the way to work. But after work, I had some random guy jump it because it wouldn't start again. So I went down to four wheel parts, and bought a new battery (my boyfriend works there). And on the way home, my power steering gear box finally took a dump. So I pulled over on the side of the highway and freaked out for a little bit because all I saw was blue smoke coming from my hood and in my rear view mirror. After I got out of the jeep, I just saw a puddle of power steering fluid, and a stream coming out of the box. After a while, Seth convinced me to drive home. On the way home, the jeep started shifting funny. I don't think it was shifting down into first because when I stopped and tried to start moving again, the rpm meter would go up when i hit the gas, but the jeep didn't move. It would wait a while, then jerk into first and start moving. I tried manually shifting it down at a red light, and it didn't jerk me.

Has ANYONE ever had any kind of problem like this?! Or is my jeep just a pile of crap?

The jerking sounds like low tranny fluid. Mines did the exact same thing when it was low on fluid. Could just be all a coincidence. My jeep took a major dump several months ago. Lost a fuel pump, tps, fuel injector and a driveshaft all in one week. I had to get it towed 3 times in one week. Now I carry just about any part you can think of lol.
