Default my new trail rig

i will post pics by the end of the week sry...

picked up a 87 cherokee with 148,000 for 3000 has brand new tires and a 3 in lift i believe... test drove it and it ran fine drove it home and to get gas and drove fine but i notice a oil burning smell when i get home after a whil i look on the driveway and it seems to be leaking in 2 spots but the trans and by the t case... im just wondering the easiest and best way to fix this and is this majoror just keep aa watch on it?

I'm gonna get pics this week hopefully by sat... I think I got a good deal but with it starting to leak idk I'm gonna have. To do all my reading up on this motor thats in here the trans and transfer. Case... idk its bad it leaked maybe a halfdollar of less from the transfer case area and a little more from the trans and oil drain area. But as the saying goes if it breaks fix it

check the valve covrt gasket it usually leaks in the back and ends up inthe area you speak of... also check the oil filter adpator... you might need a new oil rim kit very easy to install...

will do just bought some oil today 10w 30 is that what you guys use? and gonna do the spark plugs and wires and new week do a 4x4 and trans service but right now she purrs like a kittten besides a little sputter that i think is being caused by the plug wires

What's the best lift to run 31 to 33 and get a good flex...my rancho list that was on the truck when I got it seems ok but idk if its a 2 or 3 in lift and idk anything about this pump that there hooked up to...Theres a gauge for the shocks that I can pump up to 5 by pushing a button I'm gonna take pics as soon as I get time cuz idk if this is a good setup or not

Default as i said here are the pics

so i did some research on the lift its a rancho rc 9000 lift idk what size guessing 3in. and 31 mud king xt tires. theres a pic of a flex in the yard and one sitting level, and 2 of the rancho air system. i have one button to harder the shocks but it has to sit awhile to soften so im gonna figure the system out let me know what u think about my cherokee and the lift...

Nice ride man! I'm leaking oil like crazy in the same spots you are.. I know the valve cover is leaking do hopefully when I change that, it will fix some of that problem.

I changed my valve cover gasket yesterday it still leaks but not as bad I guess it being a 25 yr old truck it should leak some
