Default My New Jeep

I think I just got the dream car, though I probably overpaid. 1999 Sport in green, manual transmission with only 57,000 miles! Finding a manual was hard enough but the low miles helped me ignore the price (Temporarily - now I feel like a sucker...). Needs a few little things but nothing major. Nice and tight, feels good.

Want to find a good basket rack, maybe a new stereo - or some cassette tapes - and hit the sand!

Great forum here - tons of information and Jeep pride.

Woah sounds awesome! Check all the hoses and anything rubber. The jeep probably sat and these parts get brittle and will break

Great year BTW I looked for 6 mo. for mine. That mileage is quite low and as Martlor said watch all the rubber items as well as seals in the whole rig it had to be sitting a LOT in the last 17+ yrs.

Good advice - thanks. It is getting a thorough once-over this week and I'll make sure that's on the list. From what I understand, it was driven 2x per week on a short commute. May or may not be true but that's the word.
