Sounds like an exhaust tic, wasn't totally sure of where you pointed to regarding the smoke coming out. The exhaust manifolds are prone to fractures where the tubes come together and leaks at the cracked areas. A ticking is often an associated sound. You will have to look further up and perhaps feel around when cool, the exhaust manifold below your intake. I have changed my 89 once already and need to again, I have a spare ready for the 95. I am thinking of going to header next time. You have to remove the intake manifold to change the exhaust as they share some of the bolts.

Yes you do need help and I would truly love to but..Could you do this again in the daylight? At first I was thinking it sounded like exhaust rattling against something else but then the second half started sound more like a rod knocking...Almost all XJs develope that crack where the 2 pieces of exhaust manifold come together so it can smoke from there if the crack becomes big enough. Make another video tomorrow. Try not to gun it so much in case it is something more extreme and you end up damaging something.
