I'm having a busy week, so when my starter started dragging a few days ago I crossed my fingers every time I got in it and forged ahead. Yesterday I got off work early enough to run by the shop that works on my wife's car just to have him confirm that I was probably going to have to replace the starter very soon.
I started it for him once, he checked the battery, and then the starter wouldn't turn over again.
I'm just glad it went out in front of his shop, rather than down at deer camp in the middle of nowhere!
