98, with 157,000! Lots of extras! I drove it and fell in love! Sold my 97 Wrangler and feel like I upgraded to this beauty!

No worries about the raccoons ripping open the vinyl widows.

I was looking for an xj in 2012. I was searching what seemed like forever in every newspaper and any web site selling vehicles. Went to look at several that ended up just being turds. Knocking engines, sloppy shifting, overly rusty, or ALOT of miles. The few nice xjs I could find were really pricey. I got lucky enough to find my first xj on Craigslist of all places in a small town not too far from me. "Addie" my xj had 176000 when I bought her back in 2012. Today shes at 182284 as of today. This pic was a few months after I got her. Shes now sporting a Rustys 2 inch lift, RC track bar and steering stabilizer, crown leaf packs and brakelines, Yokohama geolander ATs, as well as a few new sensors, full brake job, ect...all the fun to be expected with an older vehicle. Its my daily driver.
...sorry for the lack of a pic. It wouldn't upload from here for some reason. They uploaded to my profile.

Welcome to the forum!

Nice looking XJ and has had a lot done to it, less for you to have spend money on in the beginning.

Looking good! Wish I'd bought one with my stuff on it first time out, but wouldn't trade my Puddlejumper for the world!

My first was also a wrangler lol. Sometimes I miss it, but I've grown to love my XJ. I might never go back.

thatXJguy I don't mind at all! I bought it on craigslist the guy was asking $3800! I got it for $3000, which I considered a win with the winch, bumpers, rock sliders not installed! Lift and new 31's! Has 2 cancer spots which we have already cut out and are welding in new sheet metal, then rhino lining the bottom half and the inside which we just finished!
