Snow is fun! Be more fun when it gets deep. Right now it's just slippery and with such a light Jeep it can still be dangerous.
I would have to ask the previous owner where he got the brush guard. It came with metal covers to go in front of the lights... but they don't look very nice so i'm keeping those off.

I should have taken more pictures when the snow was almost 2ft deep! I actually got stuck last night when I snow plow plowed me in since I had the Jeep sideways.
I will say this thing is very light. It slips and slides a lot. Maybe i'll have to look into different tires, not sure if that will help. I have Coopers on there now.
4x4 sure gets you going but doesn't mean you won't slip and slide all over.

Yes they are almost like new. One has a slight loss of color, but barely noticeable.

if your looking to upgrade your tires, might i recomend the wrangler duratrac. they are really badass! i was looking for a little snow to play in the other night coming home from work, and i found a good unplowed pull off to play in, and the snow was a little deeper than i thought. once i made it thru the berm that the plow made i was still practicaly snow plowing... so some persuasive rocking and some running starts and i was free. ive only got a 2" BB and those tires are the reason i got outta that snow. they are really good. the mud, well, they do well, but the really deep stuff is, well, too deep, but dont get me wrong, they kick ***!

I'm up in MN and I have Bridgstone Dueler A/T tires and they're great. My last 4x4 was an Explorer and it had Goodyear Wrangler R/TS and those were better on the highway than the Duelers but not as good in the deep stuff. Maybe that was just the ****ty 4x4 in the Ford though.
Looing good though, my XJ is the same year and color, but I have 236k on the clock! Keep it looking nice and find out what grill guard that is, I want it!

My black sides faded so I took em somewhere and got em painted for cheap. Now the mud chips some of the paint off so i use a sharpee to color it in. If your over 3 ft away and not looking for it, you cant tell a difference.
