I'm personally a fan of stock. The damn jeep makes enough noise inside when I'm driving down the road between the mud tires, rattling dash, rattling everything else, and random noises I can't pin point. Plus, it's a 6 cylinder. They're not exactly known for great sound...
The quieter the better IMO.

You guys want to check out my channel ? I have tried 5-6 different muffler combinations with my last 2 Jeeps.... Magnaflow is by far the highest quality/best. A Flowmaster downturn is simply intolerable(or if you illegally take out the cat, it's RIDICULOUS) with it's drone on long drives(ok around town I guess).
This is the day I got my Magnaflow downturn and is my current setup, it sounds different now that it's broken in, and it's welded in now versus clamped in on the video....

I like my thrush welded but had to add a little extension to make if fit when I cut out the original exhaust. I've heard it's a chinese copy of a Flowmaster 40.

well no... and if I did I didn't think anything of it... Anyway you'd think that would flow more freely since it seemed to sit at the bottom with just straight pipe all around...but maybe there were bits that clogged the out pipe. Whatever was going on...after he swapped the cat the muffler got real loud.
Not bad at all driving "normally." No louder than my old 95 GC V8 was floored. Pretty quiet 25-35 on city streets. Not that bad on the freeway. But uphill...LOUD. And definitely louder than most cars. Louder than the 2 mustang GTs a with dual exhaust a couple neighbors have.
It will definitely take off when you floor it, but the way I have my seat, I have to really reach forward and flat foot it to do that...its just my toes and ball of foot that hit the gas pedal.
I had a video I posted in another thread, the camera seems to have picked up a LOT more interior noise than I hear driving around... after I replace the 2 blown out stock speakers in the back doors, maybe I won't notice it at all... ( assuming I ever do, the back seats are always down for hauling dogs around and mostly block those speakers anway

Maganflow is a higher quality muffler that is of "straight-through" design, not chambered. It is made out of polished steel versus cheap alumunized steel that will deterioate after a few years. At higher rpms the FM sounds ricey and loses control of it's sound and just sounds like noise.... I do, however, much prefer the deep rumble at idle... Other then that Magnaflow all the way. There are reasons it costs a bit more, one being because it's just better.

2 words that should never go together.... straight pipe(before) and Flowmaster(after).
