It is a toss up. I don't like the clean up after mud and I don't like rock rash either.

I started this to see what everyone likes. I am all about the rocks and trail. BUT this weekend we where out on some new trails just wheels with a few buddies. There was some big mud holes that on the way out we tipped toed around. Then on the way back in we got to racing back to camp, and I have a hard time losing, lol. I hit the mud holes at about 30mph and it was so funny that me and my spotter could hardly even think we where laughing so hard. So maybe just maybe mud can be fun sometimes.

O Cleaning it SUCKED, and it was the first thing I did as we pulled up to my shop. I still have mud inside my XJ.

When in mud, it is all about keeping those tires covered up. It may look cool to have he wheels sticking out, but in five minutes you can't see where you are going. When I lived in OR we had an annual topless mud run in June. Lots of fun to watch the women get covered in muck. We all wore swimming gear, so it was lots of laughs. I however, kept my tires covered and wheeled all day and stayed clean at places like Foster Mud Flats if any of you remember reading about that place.
