Mud in the radiator
If you play in the mud then you will get mud in between the fins and it will block airflow and cause overheating. All you can do is spray it out as soon as you get done playing offroad. That's why I stay out of the mud if I can.
Just wash it out. High volume of water at a low pressure. A garden hose with no nozzle on it works great.
You play in the mud, you get to clean it up..........simple as that.

X 3 (or what ever) on just hosing it out... thats what I do. When I play piggy (having fun in the mud) I just hose off my whole front end, that was I get the lights clean (for driving home at night, haha) cleaning the rad out, AC condenser, what not...
