Default Mounting Spare tire on roof rack

I was just wondering how you guys mount yalls spare tire to your roof rack.
Do you strap or bolt it? What do i need?

I tie mine down with a 2" wide ratchet strap, it holds it nice and tight.

On my old one I welded two pieces of all thread to bolt it to my rack, an put a lock nut on one to keep the punk ***** thieves from stealing it

they make a special mounting attachment but looks like a waste of money to me. Put a short chain through it with a lock on it so it cant get stolen the use a ratchet strap and make an X out of it works perfect for me

I bought the tire mount that was designed for my rack and it has been on there for several years without issue.

I have a cargo basket with a 2" strap to hold it down and a cable lock for security
