IDK for sure, but does that violate any concealed carry laws in your state? just an fyi to think about.

I want to do the same thing with my pistol but unfortunately the great state of South Carolina frowns upon that.

Move to Texas, I believe we give a gun to every new LEGAL resident when they move here.

if you have a cpl, there shouldn't be any issues with it.. just don't leave it in there when you're not in the vehicle.

here's mine.. keeping it in my waistline while i'm driving around is pretty damn uncomfortable.

^your draw angle looks all sorts of funky from that view. I keep my pistol between the seat and the center console in its IWB holster.

This is some serious fabrication. Are you an engineer? Maybe you are an underwater welder by trade. Just a few guesses bc this is way beyond the scope of pretty much anyone on this forum on the difficulty scale.

Looks like you got it figured out quick. I was gonna recommend the MOLLE thread or Interior Mod thread.

i can get to it quick enough, but really it's more of a convenience thing. used to keep it in the center console of my last car, but this one isn't as roomy. got too much other stuff in there.

According to SC Concealed Weapons Permit laws a firearm has to be either in a closed compartment or on your person at all times. It can't be visible at any point.

Georgia is the opposite. When in a vehicle the firearm must be displayed in plain sight at all times.

Mine stays comfortably on my side while driving 90% of the time but I have a OWB holster that sits really high on my belt.

Easy enough - got any thin sheet aluminum?

- Remove plastic panel.
- Decide where you want sheath.
- Slit the panel on either side of the belt loop on the sheath, wide enough to pass the aluminum
- Thread the aluminum through the panel and the belt loop on the sheath. Allow min. 2" to either side behind the panel of metal length.
- Cement the metal strip to the inside of the panel (optional)
- Replace the panel.

I say cementing the strip is optional, because it looks as if the steel fill panel should prevent gross deformation of the panel. Make the strip about as wide as the belt loop, and the sheath should not move much. Use min. 0.060" thick aluminum strip.
