Tonight here is what i did. Wanted to have a place that was mounted to put my TOMTOM. Well i had an extra sucktion cup thing. And i also had a gauge bracket from a volt gauge i had on my other truck. So my mind started going...

And here was the outcome:

And From Outside the XJ from rear pass window.


I put it to were the metal of the gauge bracket is inbetween the rubber and the plastic on the tom tom holder.

It holds there nicly! And it is in a perfect spot for me to view and still mess with if need be! Bounces a little bit but does not move!

Whatca guys think?!

 

Nice. Now if you could only move the mirror up higher.

I hate it when people stick their GPS in the middle of their windshield. Isn't the purpose of the windshield for you to be able to see the road?

 

Ya if i was able to get the mirrior just below the GPS, i would be set!
