I have a 95 cherokee country that needs work and a neighbor has a 6 cylinder 98 grand cherokee laredo with a hole in a piston he wants to sell for 200$ my tc is 231(broken) and his is 242....how many parts off of his could I use on mine....or can I put my engine in his? Mine doesn't have half of the computer crap that his does and I don't wanna screw with too much of that....is it even worth it or should I look for a different parts donor xj

 

You could swap engines. No electronics involved.
