Has anyone ever swapped out the stock motor tranny and tcase for Chevy stuff? I am thinking going 350 motor, 400 turbo tranny, and really havent decided on what tcase to go with yet but probably something out of a chevy.

 

a 350 in a cherokee is a complete waste of time. Get a K5 blazer. This question and debate has been beat to death here. from the factory in the late 90's the 4.0 in the cherokee put out more horespower than most of the stock 350's gm put out. And you can build and stroke a 4.0 just like anything else. HOWEVER... Seriousoffroad on here has a newer Vortec in his... that, is pretty wicked.
