9" of lift? That seems just a tad excessive but then again I dont need to drive over small cars. I would be curious has to what steering it has? If you do take it home put the front sway bar back on or that thing will kill you.

Too much lift, too big of tires on stock axles. :-)

You are the one who is buying it- if you like it then go for it, both of the things I don't like about it can be fixed.

I fell in love with it first time i seen it. It has the adjustable coil spaces with shackles in back i would prob want to take them off and run like 33's i am pretty sure its just a 6.5 long arm kit. He also told me he had 2 spares that are brand new and tires on it have 80+% tread. How bad is it with no sway bars because i have drove a tj without them and it was not really DEATH but it was by no means safe either.

Its way to much. I guess it depends on what the going rate for an xj is like that. here you can buy that rig stock for 2k. I know the guy put some $$ into but the ad on's are not worth 4k more. It needs to be lowered, that thing would be scary on the trails. it has no lockers and stock gears. the mpg will be horrible, it will be sluggish. you have to buy gears and have them installed which is a good chunk of change.

since you have to gear it I wouldn't offer more then 4k for it.

no sway bars of that thing would have some HUGE body roll. i have driven many xj's with no sway bars but nothing that tall. i wouldnt drive is as my dd that for sure.

Im sure your tj didnt have a 14" lift like this one. if you put the 38's under this xj then sure you could probably make it home just fine. but you have a huge lift and small tires. your cog is super high which in turn would cause body roll............

i wouldnt drive it 50 miles with no swaybar
