Most Expensive Cherokee Part Ever
I was just searching Amazon for random Cherokee parts to add to my never ending wish list when I came across this replacement catalitic converter for just $1,000,040.64. Oh, and that's 20% off the original list price of $1,250,0050.80! I think you could have bought Chrysler Corp. for that amount about two-years ago.
Here's the link for your enjoyment:

I e-mailed them to let them know about the problem and it looks like the fixed it quick. They e-mailed me back and let me know I could have 10% off any item the offer anytime.

That's funny. Brings up a good question though. Not to jack your thread, but the most anyone's spent a single part? Mechanic time doesn't count. part only.
I think mine is a $200 ECM.

I think it's a good direction for the thread to go.
I've only just started working on this Cherokee (we bought it for my sister-in-law) and so far I've only purchased a few random parts to fix the most obvious issues. It's begining to run well enough now I can begin thinking about non-priority parts like motor mounts and new brake hoses (ok the brake hoses are at the top of the short list).
So far the most expensive thing I've purchase new has been a distributor cap for $18. Most expensive used parts were a pair of hatch struts and a dash fascia for $30.
