What is a good height to lift my xj? Wheres a good place to get the hardware?

IMOP a 3" to a 4.5" lift with 31" or 32" tire's looks great on a xj go to www.RoughCountry.com the got good prices on lifts

I am with xjjeeper i am on a 4.5 and 33s could not be happier for bein a dd. Mine is a rustys lift. People say bad things about rustys because it is on the cheaper side but i have no issues so far. Rough country is also a affordable lift and go od products. Another good one is rubicon express but is i think a bit more on the expensive side. Let me know if i am wrong.

I would get front tow hooks and a tow hitch for recovery points before you get a lift...

Ok thanks for all the advice, I think three to four inches is what I am lookin for. I want to be able to use it for normal everyday use but I want to be able to take it off road for some fun too.

Id do 4.5 with full leafs coils and upper and lower control arms do it once do it right
