i know this is gonna sound rediculous in a way but i need help with the warranty on my trans that i had rebuilt 8 months ago. the trans has gone out again and i'm wanting the warranty to pay for it of course, but the problem is i haven't been to easy on it (mud, trails etc.) and it's in the warranty that it gets voided if the trans has been abused.

what can i say to keep my warranty in tact here?
i guess i just need a good excuse



edit:the trans went out going 30 mph down the street on the way to dinner (not being rough on it AT ALL)

Make sure its nice and clean, and dont tell them more than they need to know..

clean the underbody up and just tell them you daily drove it while staying within the mileage specified. if they bs just go above that person and be like look I had this work done here thinking I would be taking care of and now X number of months later it failed. not saying is bad work on your part but regardless my trans failed me, what can you do for me.

just my .02 tho.

not to mention that a stock AW4 can go to like 400,000 miles or more, regardless of how its used. If its taken care of...

ya the problem is is that it's already at the shop. i know that the trans fluid still looks perfect though so that's a good sign. i just have to wait until the shop can get into mine cus they're super busy. the owner is the only one who deals with the customers so i can't really go above his head.
