Default More power?

Anyone have any good ideas or efficient ways to get more power from your xj. The cheaper the better haha oh and i have the 4.0L inline 6

Cold air intake and custom exhaust is the usual way (stage 1, bolt ons).
Stage 2 includes swapping cams and headers, and maybe a turbo/supercharger.
Or, you could just drop a Hemi in there.... :-)

I wish i had the money for a hemi but i guess ill start with the cold air intake and go from there i have a full borla exhaust system on the jeep now cat back, tip and everything

I think the most important part of the exhaust line up he gave you was the header. ;]

couple different way really, boring your throttle body, swapping injectors, higher flow intake, high flow exhaust, good tune-up, if your auto you could do a Trans-go shift kit, if you have a 5-speed chances are you have the 3.07 gears, and upgrading to 4.10's will drastically change the power band for the better...

ive heard of a lot of people swapping injectors from neons and other cars from junkyards, should i buy newer injectors or what car would be best to try and swap from?

You can get a set of 8 neon injectors for the price of one new injector..so I got the junkyard neon ones and they're soaking in injector cleaner right now. And the injector you need depends on the year of your Jeep.
