Cherokees love the Champion Copper Cores. Mine does atleast, and I'm sure a number of members here will tell you the same thing.

just use the plugs that are original or as close to original as possible. look up in the guide book at the parts store to see which ones are recommended.

i always use champion myself, but have used ngk with good results.

any cheap single flat electrode plug. nothing fancy.

Right now, i am using the E3 Diamond Fire spark plugs, no real big difference. I just drove over 600miles 4 times. My gas mileage has gone up from 19.5 to 20.

However the mileage could be due to many factors, so if you like the expensive plugs buy em, otherwise, CHAMPIONS are just as good.

You what the AC in AC spark plugs means? Albert Champion. He started Champion spark plugs in 1904 and lost control of the the company, then in 1909 he started AC Spark Plug company.
BTW, I have Autolites in my rig.
