I heard from somewhere if you change the motor with a new one the miles start over to 000000. Is that true?

I would have to say no. Yes te motor would be new but the car still has that many miles on it's other parts and joints. You would just have to keep track of when motor was done

used to have a '00 wj laredo with 182k. then i wrecked it no major repairs made on it. the transmission hiccupped from 2nd to 3rd though. pretty sure someone bought it out of the junkyard... they won't be too happy with that purchase :P

yes it is kilometers but looks cool, guess one can't rely on a Jeep to take them around the world much more than 39 times....or fill er up, engage the t case and lets go again

97 SE 4door. 309,000 mile daily driver. I've replaced just about everything except the body panels, engine, tranny, T-case and , axles. It's not had an easy life.
88 Chief 2door. 274,000 miles. Probably has alot more than that on it, Speedo hasn't worked for a looooooooong time! It's had both doors, both fenders, rear axle, and steering column replaced. Gonna be getting more replaced before I'm done.

And later that day...

Mileage club-photo0297.jpg

now it is at the shop because it just began to overheat and stall for no reason, and I no longer have the time to trouble shoot. BUT before that happened, I was getting a solid 20mpg!
