I have two sets of maps of all the fire roads/hiking trails in San bernardino co. seeing how I'm moving to Colorado and won't be needing them anymore, if you want them let me know.

I collect maps where ever I go from AAA and Ranger Stations, also have some books like, "Guide to Southern California Backroads and 4-Wheel Drive Trails" got at Barnes and Noble. Most of the trails in the books are pretty easy, but you can ussually find some pretty good wheeling trails, once you get on the trail they are writing about. I also mark trails on my Garmin, and look for trails on Google Earth, then Just go exploring.

A good starting point for your adventures. I have the one for the Moab area (being a Utah boy) very useful.
