Default Mall Crawlin :) Pics

Ok so heres the deal i have been working on my jeep alot lattley and i havent got the chance to wheel it because everyone in my club is working on theirs and they are unfinished and such. So i had to do a little mall crawling today. oh yeah i putt new-used rancho three inch lift springs with a two inch shackel in the rear. bed linered the jeep. weld a stinger and painted my bumper. put two inch spacers up front with three inch springs. so i got five inches of lift adjustable trac bar. and i put lights on my roof rack. ps i need adjustable lower and upper arms if you guys got any for sale.

Im not trying to be a dick... But what are those big stinger bars good for?

I thought it was so that you dont roll over frontwards onto the roof...

Is this true?

Funny you posted that because I have often wondered that myself. What is the purpose of the stinger? I am working on my front bumper right now and would rather have a square grill guard/light bar unless there is a good reason for the stinger. Does it serve a purpose, and what is that purpose?

Cheers and looking good!

I think they help when approaching/climbing ledges/obstacles, and also serve as a form of brush guard. Plus, they look tough as hell.

I've heard that before but nobody has been able to tell me HOW they help on approaching obstacles and climbing. I agree they look tough, but I do not have a tube bender and don't want to buy one unless there is a good reason for one (other than looks- I think a light bar/brush guard looks good too).

Yes they will help keep it from rolling over frontwards on steep descents. Some are even built so that when they roll over sideways it keeps the hood/radiator from being destroyed, this would be mostly on a Wrangler.

2 doors for the win!!! however u copied my pics, I entered my xj in cherokee of the month flexing on the same concrete slope thing. That bumper is good for rollovers but if u dont have a cage then theres no point in having it.

If you are already built with no pics then no point.

The idea behind the build thread area is for people to show there progress from Stock to ultimate wheeler.
