Default This Makes Me SO MAD!

I go on AutoTrader, search Cherokee - '98-'01 - Manual - any distance.

Results: 13.

Later I search Cherokee - '98-'01 - Any Trans. - any distance.

Results: 1,002.

Also, searched within 25 miles - Any Trans. on accident.

Results: 25. Almost double the results in my area then in the entire US.

It makes finding the right Cherokee for me so incredibly difficult and frustrating? Why lack of stick-shift?!

/rant.

Christian.

I'd rather have a stick too, but my "98" has the AW4 & it's quite a mover in traffic.

Kinda nice to be going 30 mph & just mash the stupid pedal.

Goes right to warp 9!

There's a reason auto's are more popular. Ever launch a boat with a stick?

I never have any trouble with it. Not trying to be mean or insulting but IMO if you have good skill with a clutch nothing is a problem. I can do anything an auto can do and then some.

Default Autos

Yeah, they are being held onto, plus there were a lot more autos out there to begin with.

Nothing wrong with autos. We can have a genital measuring contest here all day, but anyone that says a manual is easier to drive than an auto is full of it
I have a manual and love it. So, alpha males out there, I am not saying auto is better, superior, more desireable, or anything. Just that at the end of the day, the auto is simpler for the driver. On AND off road. The end

Agreed. I had a stick in my old ranger and I was pretty good with it

If you're implying that driving stick-shift is difficult, well then that's your opinion. Personally, I am pretty good at driving stick, and don't find it a burden at all.
