I live in a city and I find that the small windshield on the XJ doesn't always allow me to see stop lights that are rather close to the vehicle, so I think that would annoy me because it would be even harder to see them. But that being said it is rather unique as you don't see them often and that brings something to the table too.

I do a lot of trail riding in the mountains so I do not want anything extra that will get caught on branches or that hampers my vision. Don't know where you wheel because your profile is not filled out.

I had one but got rid of it cause I thought it looked cooler without. After I junked it I realized how much soon it blocked. Besides the rearview mirror is a bigger blidspot for me than the visor ever was.
I say no. But, it's all a matter of preference (like my TJ flares). Honestly, decide if you like it or not and then go that route. If you do keep it, definitely paint it to match and wire the lights to your parking lights.
