Post Lowering Help/info please

Ive got a 2000 grand cherokee laredo that im looking to do a drop on i want to do between 4-8in drop. Where can i find parts to do this, has anyone on here done this before?

I know most people lift up their jeeps but mines 2wd so i mine as well just roll with it.

Not many of us here lower our jeeps, we try to raise them as much as possible. I guess itd be the same but opposite if that makes scense. New shocks and springs. I guess shorter pitman arm so your steering isnt affected and cut/relocate you track bar and get shorter controll arms both upper and lower both for the front and rear. Breaks might be too long so get them tied to the side or shortened. Then the only problem i would see is if the driveshaft would go at the angle needed. Youve got 2wd so the shaft is longer and that might hinder in this case, i dont know.

And 2wd wont slow you down too much as long as you put a locking differential in there. Mines 2wd with a locker and it can go places some 4wd's cant go.
This is a more expensive locker, but look up power trax locker on the tube. The only problem i run into with the locker is steep hills and rocks due to the rear wheel drive.
