Default Low voltage

I have 2000 jeep cherokee. I kept losing voltage. I checked the battery at an autoparts store and they told me it was bad. When I started the jeep back up voltage was normal. I was driving that night and i got low voltage again. The lights were on and so it eventually died. I took the battery out and charged it. When I put it back in, everything worked as normal for a few months. Same battery and everything. A few months later it happened again. I pulled over and turned it off and back on. Worked like a charm. A few months later it happened again but the turn off and back on wouldn't work, so I drove to another auto parts store to check the alternator. they said it was bad so I replaced it. A few weeks later, i has happened again. I have cleaned the all the wire terminals on the the alternator and battery. Should i try replacing the alternator again? Is it my computer? Any other ideas?

don't just check ground wires, check every wire in that circuit. get a wire brush and coke to clean up contacts, make sure all wires are producing the proper voltage with a voltmeter to make sure there aren't shorts/breaks. if you can't find anything, go back to the auto parts store have them test alternator and battery again, i had this similar issue and it happened to be shotty wiring so i upgraded all wires instead of just replacing with stock and did the durango alternator upgrade while at it
