Default looking at a xj

Just wanting to know about this xj I'm thinking about buying. It is a 99 ,he just put a new 4.0 in her out of a 01 it only has 30,000 on it . He put a 1.5 lift on with some 33 . What I was wondering is he welded rearend instead of lockers. Will this be ok . It will be dd too. He only asking 1700 for her

1.5 lift with 33s? Is it cut to Hell?? Cause I'm at 3 inches on 33s and I have done a Helluva lot of trimming to be able go flex. And your not going to like that welded diff as a dd

He has cut the fenders I think he has 15x10 on it as well. That's what I was wondering about the rear end if it would eat my tires to hell . Just sounded like a good deal. Wanted to run it by the forum family

Hell if it ran good I'd buy it that's 200 cheaper than I paid for my 92 but just get a different center chunk for the rear and if you don't have the money right away for a locker or whatever just go to the junk yard and pull an open diff and throw it in for now cause you'll hate the welded rear and personally I would trust a strangers welds but I say buy it! Is the back trimmed past the pinch weld? IF so is it sealed back up?

And find out why he replaced the motor

Yeah that's what I'm thinkin buy it and just put new guts in rear . As far as the rear being cut and welded ,he has welded it up case he had to cut beyond the welds . What caught my eye is the new engine he put in her ,really low mileage

Ya that's nice but find out why he had to put a new motor in it cause being that new he shouldn't of had too
