I have an 01 xj with the same rocker panel rust that most have. I'm all for the DIY rock slider project however Id rather not take on the welding. Can anyone recommend someone/somewhere around NJ that I can pay to do this mod?

I just listed many options in that link. You need to do some of your own legwork. Start calling people and get some quotes. If you want a recommendation from a local, post in the local section or ask people where you live. The world wide Web is probably not the place for a local recommendation unless you're looking in the right place. Just sayin
