Im looking to get a 93 Grand Cherokee...has some body damage(dont much care, i will most likely add more) and has high miles...Im getting this jeep strictly to drive back and fourth to work(couple blocks) and go all out off road(something i cant do with my DD xj)...that being said she has 232,000 miles and is full time 4x4...guy says it runs and drives great...has the 4.0...i've never really looked much into the grands, so can some of you enlighten me on what im getting into? You know like axle wise, issues, cheap lifts...you know all the good and bads.

The 249 t case is the weak link. I had a 93 pretty much identical and swapped to a 231 and was good. The 93 with a 4L has the AW4 tranny like an XJ so you're good there. Front axle is a LP 30 rear is a 35.

Kinda debating on what i wanna do though...thinking i may just fix the cosmetic issues and let the wife drive it so i get my xj back.lol
