Default switches in shifter panel

I started a Fitch box, but decided to put them in the shift panel. The leds work a little too well. I used a Sharpy to turn them black, but they are still pretty bright. It looks clean and that's what I wanted. There's not much space under the panel, but I got 'em in there.

The under side wiring in progress
Ran the wires to a Radio Shack project box under the hood that holds the relays and keeps them dry.

Nice work mizedog. I had the same problem putting indicator LEDs on my bike. I found something that works pretty well though; put a dot of clear silicone caulking right on top of the led. If the led is recessed a little from the plastic around the shifter, you can fill it with the silicone and scrape it off level with your finger or a piece
of plastic. The led is still visible, but much less bright. Good luck
