My brother is looking at a WJ tomorrow and I'm driving him. I don't know much about them only my Cherokee so what should i look for? It's an 02 with 95k miles garage kept asking $5500 fully loaded. Looks pretty clean has the 4.0. So What are some common problems of these jeeps?

You wanna stay away the quadratrac system crap, whatever its called. i believe it was on for a couple years, I could double check with my dad. He's a mechanic for Chrysler Jeep Dodge and I remember that system had problems the first 2 years it came out.

My daughter's 02 is a sweet truck. The 4.0 pulls it just fine with a 3:55 gear (faster than me), tow package models had a 3:72, as did the 4.7 V8, Her "Blue Steel" has the NP242 transfercase. I put 2 full tanks of gas thru it when preparing it for her, 28 mpg!! no bull. that's canadian, eauates to 22.5 US. I do recommend staying away from that full time 4x4 system, fine for trail only truck, too hard on gas for all round.
My Peep is rough and tough (actually barbaric) compared to the 02WJ, so well refined with heated leather. Oh yes, it is non-C clip D35 rear, to my surprise. If you inspect and body is good, don't hesitate.
