Default Looking to buy a used cherokee

I am new to the jeep world and I am debating between a wrangler and a cherokee. I am looking at a few different cherokees and I have heard to stay away from the V8. The one that I am looking at is a 6. Please take a look and let me know what you guys think. I need a car really soon. The vehicle below i am going to look at later today and he said he would take $3500. Thanks again everybody

Looks clean. Price is a bit steep, tho. Reasonable, but a tad high.

Grand cherokees came with the v8, and it isn't that bad of an engine. Cherokees are cheaper than wranglers and you can do more upgrades than buying an expensive wrangler. When you check this cherokee out check underneath for rust, start up the engine and listen to it, and check out the engine bay. Good luck for your search for a new jeep.

What would keep you guys from paying more than $3200? I am going to have my mechanic take a quick look when I meet with the guy.

If it checked out mechanically I'd buy it at $3500. Clean looking two doors aren't seen to often these days.

OK guys here's another one the last one sold right before I got off work.
The motor has 80k on it now and the body has 200k. He has Also swapped out the power steering gear box and new u joints. He is the third owner and has had it for 2 1/2 years. All the work was done by a professional. What is this actually worth and what can you tell is going to be wrong?
