Default Long XJ Trip

I am about to go from north Carolina to Texas driving my Cherokee with my wife and dog. Anyone got any idea of suggestions for the trip to make I easier or more enjoyable. I upgraded my speakers And stereo, and I got a power converter. That's basically it so far any ideas?

An extra CPS, and a case of your choice of coffee/energy drinks.

if you were me, some coolant and water. It's going to take a couple more road trips before I can trust that mine won't overheat even with a new radiator and the cooling system flushed

Seriously Books on CD are great for long trips. They really make the time and miles go by fast.

Gallon or 2 of 50/50 coolant. Not sure what the weather is going to be like, but a jug of washer fluid can come in handy or just make sure yours is topped off. Duct tape, electrical tape, a couple of hose clamps, and basic tools. Tire plug kit. Flashlight.

Be thankful its only NC to TX. I have a trip from MI to AK coming up. My short list so far is extra gas, tools, tools, tools, tire kit, floor jack (though i always have that), gatorade bottles (u cant always stop and these make great pee bottles), lots of music, extra cell phone battery, etc etc

I usually have most of that anyway but this is 60 hours worth of actual driving

Dang. Well I got the dog in a "kennel" makeshift. I got 2 Jerry cans; 1 with water and 1 with gas then a gallon of coolant buy I might grab one more. I am bringing all my tools because I'm leaving them in Texas. I got **** paper and shop towels. Don't got a DVD player but got an iPad and a laptop. I also am going to grab a case of monster and carton of smokes from sams club. Maybe some oil.
