Expecting 6-12 inches total, but there's always more in the north shore where I am

it's funny how when it snows 2 inches in the southwest, like arizona and stuff, people cause so many crashes

Ehhh. I don't really support all of the bashing. I readily admit that there are bad drivers down here... the big differences? Our bad drivers have never driven in snow (or in this case, ice) before. They also don't have chains or winter tires, or in a LOT of cases, 4wd. We also have a lot more hills than you guys (at least in my experience.. never been to NY, but Indiana/Chicago/Ohio all seemed a lot more flat to me)

That said, I've been doing just fine driving around in 2wd with crappy tires. /shrug The only thing that gets me are the really (no, really) steep hills. Just don't have the ability to get the power to the ground...

I mainly just don't like being grouped in with them just because I live here.

yeah I understand that, just like how people can't drive in the snow up here too.
