Long Arms
Ok im gonna order the Rustys long arm kit for my XJ, so i was wondering... On the high clearence long arms is there any issue on them hitting the bottom of the unibody or anywhere?.. Im gonna be running 34"s so it wont be like ill be running 31"s with a 6.5" lift with a massive amount of room for upward travel.

Can i ask why you would take those kits? they are smaller and the Rock Krawler is the same price as the 8 inch? I was checkin out the rock Krawler site i kinda like that rear coil over conversion might think about doing that haha. What ya think?

TNT has the nasty good bellypan, full traction has arguably the best geometry of any bolt on kit, and also has a bellypan you can get, and rock krawler's stuff is beef as hell and works great. 8" is pretty tall.. even guys running jeepspeed dont go much higher than 6 or 7 in 3700.

If it is not having sufficient room to travel longer arm, then don't choose it, but if is have such space at the travel area, then it will be better as the steering load will decrease obviously.

Another vote for Full Traction... I have installed two so far, one on an XJ and one on a TJ, both are VERY well built, handle really well on the street, and are VERY well thought out.
The TJ has over 80K miles, and has only needed a track bar bushing replaced, and the lower control arm heims.
The XJ has multiple wheeling trips, and two flops... still runs straight down the highway.
